It looked as if the entire week we expected Houston Astros’ great Craig Biggio to be announced as a Hall of Famer. However, it wasn’t to be in 2014. Biggio just missed the Hall of Fame by two votes as he finished with 74.8 percent.
- Jack Morris‘ future candidacy will be decided by the Hall of Fame Veteran’s committee as a player is only eligible for 15 years on the ballot.
- The main players who are linked to Performance Enhancing Drugs: Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire are in the Bermuda Triangle of percentage status. It doesn’t look like they have any upside as to making Cooperstown.
